Members In The Military

Anthony Bull, one of Dutch Valley’s very own, left for Navy Boot Camp in Illinois on February 24, 2009.   Anthony’s Great Grandfather (Willard Howard) was in the Navy; His Grandfather Bobby Howard (Julie Howard’s husband) was in the Army.  It has been a childhood dream of Anthony’s to have a rewarding career in the Navy, not to mention blowing things up!  He misses everyone very much, but says he has grown a lot closer to God. 

Anthony’s training will consist of 3 weeks prep training in Illinois and 9 weeks Dive Training in Panama City, FL.  Once his dive training is complete he will go to Eglin AFB, FL for EOD (Explosives Ordinance Div) School for 42 weeks, which is what Anthony will specialize in.  He will go to Ft. Benning, GA for 3 weeks of Parachute Training and finally to San Diego, CA for 3 weeks Tactical Training.
