Why is it called Compass?
Because the Bible is our "compass" for life. It has all the principles we need to navigate life victoriously. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
What is the purpose of Compass? The purpose of Compass is to:
- Equip people with the word of God,
- Engage them in meaningful relationships with others, and
- Embrace them with the love of God.
In our Compass Classes, you learn the basics of our Christian faith, how to study and understand the Bible, and discover your gifts, and your ministry. I guarantee these classes will help you build a closer and stronger relationship with God!

Membership 101
This class introduces you to the structure, strategy, and statements of faith of our church. It is a “behind the scenes” look at how our church family is fulfilling its unique calling in the community and around the world.

Maturity 201
This class is designed to enable you to reach your greatest spiritual growth potential. You will discover the basic habits necessary for growing as a follower of Jesus Christ. The basic disciplines of daily time with God, a weekly tithe to God, and getting connected to a small group of believers who can encourage and support you are covered in this class.

Ministry 301
This class helps you discover how you have been uniquely designed by God to serve Him. We believe that every member is a minister. You are God’s masterpiece and He has prepared good works in advance for you to do. You will discover how your Spiritual Gifts, Heart Passions, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences in Life are all ingredients that go into giving you a blueprint for ministry. You will receive a one-on-one consultation with Pastor following this class to find the right ministry fit for you.

Mission 401
This class is designed to help you use your unique ministry outside the walls of our church. You will discover how to share the good news of Jesus Christ in a way that is most natural for you. You will also discover the many ways you can be involved in outreach to the un-churched in our community and around the world. Following this class you will be encouraged to become involved in an outreach ministry or project to receive hands-on experience in fulfilling the “Great Commission.”
